PLEASE READ: This cycle's focus area is Parish Life. Only applications from, or on behalf of parishes will be accepted and reviewed. This includes any project or program that engages in evangelization or encourages community participation at parishes. Grants range from $5,000 to $10,000. Parishes may apply for capital improvement projects, but they must detail how much the project will cost and how much funding has been secured already. Parish schools are not eligible this grant cycle.

Our past   Grants

School Safety Grant (9)

$75,215 was granted out to nine Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia as part of a foundation-led school safety initiative. The nine schools awarded grants were: Holy Family Regional Catholic School, Mother of Province Regional Catholic School, Nativity of Our Lord School, Our Lady of Port Richmond School, Roman Catholic High School, St. Ephrem School, St. Hubert High School for Girls, St. Jude School and St. Teresa of Calcutta School.

St. Veronica School

$2,474 grant for the School's Remedial Reading Learning Support Center expansion.

Mercy Career and Technical High School

$6,898 to purchase AED's for student safety and career training.

Our Mother of Sorrows/St. Ignatius of Loyola School

$8,000 grant for laptops - a part of the School's Technology Lab renovation.

St. Veronica School

$2,474 grant for the School's Remedial Reading Learning Support Center expansion.

Gianna Center of Philadelphia

$6,000 grant for lab materials and medical devices for their newest location in Philadelphia.

Faith in the Future Foundation

$6,000 for reading materials to support the four Catholic Schools of Special Education within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School

$5,000 grant to support the school's Science,Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Program.

Mothers' Home

$4,800 grant that purchased bed bug covers, pillows, blankets and baby monitors for expectant mother's in the organization's residential program.

Deaf Apostolate, Archdiocese of Philadelphia

$5,000 for Camp Overbrook IN SIGN, a local summer camp for deaf and hard of hearing children.

Catholic Social Services - Montgomery County Family Service Center

$2,000 grant towards the Center's Martha's Choice Marketplace "Shop N Chop" Program.

IHM Center for Literacy

$5,000 to purchase whiteboards for their Farragut Street site.

Providence Center

$15,000 grant to implement the Power Youth Middle School Program.

Augustinian Defenders of the Rights of the Poor (ADROP)

$2,750 for ADROP and St. Anthony of Padua School's after school enrichment program.

Holy Cross Regional Catholic School

$3,972.50 to help implement a Theology of the Body Program into the School's curriculum.

St. Gabriel School

$5,5000 grant for the purchase of a security and surveillance system.

St. Martin de Porres School

$2,619 grant to support their Extended Day Program.

Philadelphia Archdiocesan Historical Research Center

$4,180 grant for the purchase of a microfilm reader printer used for archiving.

Community Center at Visitation

$7,500 grant for general operating support.

Providence Center

$5,000 grant for general operating support.

St. Francis de Sales School

$13,000 grant to support the School's SAILOR (Science and Art Innovative Learning On the River) STEM Program at the Independence Seaport Museum.

Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Home

$12,500 grant to purchase a new heating system for the nursing home residents.

Community Center at Visitation

$5,000 grant for the Center's Youth Sports Program.

Operating Base Cecilia - Supportive Services for Veterans and Families

$5,000 grant for a private shower and changing area for homeless veterans.

Casa Del Carmen

$5,000 grant for their on-site Elena Santora Food Pantry that purchased two new refrigerators and one new freezer.

Community Impact Awards

CFGP’s Community Impact Awards identify charitable organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area that require immediate financial assistance. Community Impact Award's are chosen by CFGP staff members and do not have a formal application or granting process.
