AFIRE Ministries has a vision to see faith, hope, and love flourish in hearts, homes, and communities.
Founded in 2015 by Dr. Nina Maria Corona, Founder and Executive Director, AFIRE invites individuals and parishes into a journey of spiritual formation, awakening faith, forming disciples, and inspiring lives rooted in Christ’s love. Through engaging programs, prayer experiences, and practical resources, AFIRE helps people understand their faith more deeply and live it more fully in the ordinary moments of life.
In her conversation with Ted Qualli, President and CEO of The Catholic Foundation, Dr. Corona shares why this work matters, especially for those longing for a deeper relationship with God and for individuals and families affected by addiction.
In 2025, AFIRE was recognized as an Angel Award finalist for its thoughtful and innovative approach to evangelization. The ministry is now preparing to introduce Graced Collaboration, a new faith-rooted recovery and relapse-prevention program grounded in Ignatian spirituality and contemporary research. It reflects the same belief that healing happens best in relationship, through formation, accompaniment, and hope.
