At The Catholic Foundation, our mission is to help donors make a lasting impact on the Catholic causes they love — and the work of the Little Sisters of the Poor is a shining example of that impact.
On June 24, 2025, the Little Sisters celebrated the Grand Reopening of Holy Family Home, a sacred space renewed to continue serving the elderly poor in Philadelphia with dignity and compassion.
Through generous contributions to the Sisters’ fund at The Foundation, more than $20 million has been granted to support this vital transformation.
This milestone is more than a reopening — it’s a living example of what happens when philanthropy is rooted in faith, guided by donor intent, and stewarded with care.
We are honored to walk alongside the Little Sisters of the Poor and all who support them, helping ensure that their mission — to love and serve the elderly poor in the spirit of Christ — continues for generations to come.
