Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish(OMLC) in Doylestown is meeting people where they are and guiding them back to real encounters with Jesus Christ.

Located in Doylestown, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is a vibrant parish community committed to helping people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Through faith formation programs, Bible studies, parish-wide events and opportunities for prayer and fellowship, the parish creates countless entry points for people to encounter the Lord and deepen their personal relationship with Him. Their desire is simple: to bring as many people to Christ as possible, in as many ways as possible.

Now, they are extending that mission into the digital space.

While many prayer apps remain confined to screens, OLMC’s Prayer App is designed with a different purpose. It invites digital seekers into prayer, reflection, and formation, then gently leads them toward something deeper: a real, incarnational encounter with Christin the Eucharist and active participation in parish life.

In his conversation with Ted Qualli, President and CEO of The Catholic Foundation, Father Shane M. Flanagan, Parochial Vicar, shared why this approach matters today. For many people, the first step back to faith happens quietly on a phone or late at night with a question. The app meets them there, then walks with them toward Mass, community, and the sacraments.

Recognized as a 2025 Angel Award finalist for its creative and innovative approach to evangelization, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is showing how technology can serve the Gospel by connecting hearts to Christ and drawing people home to the Church.
