A New Seat at the Table for Church Leadership

The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia is proud to announce its sponsorship of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia and Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary as new members of the Satell Institute, a leading “Think and Do Tank” dedicated to advancing Corporate Social Responsibility.

This sponsorship is an investment in visibility, leadership, and collaboration for two of the Church’s most impactful institutions.

Serving more than 3,750 individuals each day, Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP)  is one of the largest social service providers in Pennsylvania. CCoP is the heart of the Church’s mission in action, delivering vital support across the Philadelphia region, providing food, housing, and care for seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities. Rooted in faith and driven by service, CCoP nourishes, shelters, supports, and empowers those in need.

Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, founded in 1832, serves the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and numerous arch/dioceses across the country, forming men for the Roman Catholic priesthood and diaconate through rigorous academic, human, spiritual, and pastoral preparation as well as providing numerous educational offerings for leaders of the Church.

By joining the Satell Institute, both institutions will be part of a dynamic coalition of nonprofits and businesses working together to create meaningful change. The Institute connects high-impact nonprofits with corporate partners who are committed to strengthening communities through thought leadership and action.

As the Satell Institute affirms, Community is Every Leader’s Business, and The Catholic Foundation is proud to help ensure that Catholic Charities and Saint Charles Seminary have a seat at that table.
